General Information

What is FreeLottoFest?

Launched in 2017, FreeLottoFest.com operates out of Cyprus. It was started by one of the world’s largest lottery winners, Harry Dazz with the sole purpose of giving people the chance to play the lotto without having to spend huge amounts on tickets. The site offers users the opportunity to participate in competitions to win jackpots free of charge. All prizes on the site are stated in South African Rand (ZAR). Harry Dazzle’s lottery games are supposed to be free, paid for by advertising and surveys but certain sections are now for “premium” members only.

Login and Sign Up

Entry into the daily competitions offered by the site could not be any simpler. Simple personal details such as name, surname, email address and cell phone allow you to register. Once registered, you are able to participate in all of the competitions. This is done by selecting numbers for Competition 1 and submitting them to the site. Once they have been confirmed, you will automatically be redirected to choose numbers for Competition 2 and so on until you have entered into all seven. There is an opportunity for an additional entry, per competition, by completing a short survey. This means that it is possible for you to submit 14 entries into the competitions every day.
One thing to note is that you cannot enter directly into the major jackpot draw of Competition 7. You will need to enter into each of the competitions to be able to reach this last one..

Review of games, promos and Bonuses

Promo codes, Discounts and Vouchers

Due to the fact that the services offered by FreeLottoFest are free, it is not a surprise that there are no promotions or bonuses.

Popular Lottery Games

FreeLottoFest does not offer any popular international lotteries or casino games to participate in. Instead, it offers players the chance to enter into seven of the site’s own unique competitions. These competitions are structured according to their jackpot payout and take place every day at 7:00 pm

● Competition 1: Jackpot of ZAR10,000 (€634 / $712)

● Competition 2: Jackpot of ZAR20,000 (€1,267 / $1,424)

● Competition 3: Jackpot of ZAR40,000 (€2,535 / $2,848)

● Competition 4: Jackpot of ZAR60,000 (€3,802 / $4,272)

● Competition 5: Jackpot of ZAR80,000 (€5,069 / $5,697)

● Competition 6: Jackpot of ZAR100,000 (€6,337 / $7,120)

● Competition 7: Jackpot of ZAR12,000,000 (€760,821 / $854,951)

Players can choose to pay 2 Rand a day for the “Optional Added Benefits Service”. This ensures that you automatically have your tickets daily plus you receive a notification upon winning including a telephone call if you win over a certain amount. They charge this on a monthly basis of R60, FreeLottoFest.com says you can opt out of this at any time, but there are no refunds.

Review on Pay-outs, Withdrawals, and Winners

Claiming your winnings depends on whether you are a WinFest subscriber or not. If you are, your entries into the competitions are automatically checked against draw results and you will be notified of any winnings. These winnings are then automatically paid out using your selected withdrawal option. If you are not a WinFest member, you will need to manually check the draw results each day to see if you have won. If you did, you will need to contact FreeLottoFest to claim your winnings. For all winnings, you may be requested to verify yourself by providing proof of identity and residence. And, while all winnings from Competitions 1 to 6 are said to pay out within 30 days, jackpot winnings from Competition 7 will be paid out in 25 instalments over 25 years. This means that you will only receive ZAR480,000 (€30,432 / $34,183) each year from the time that you win.

Customer Support at FreeLottoFest

There are not many customer support options available for FreeLottoFest. Online, they only offer a support email address (info@freelottofest.com) that they claim takes up to 48hours to get a response. The site does feature a comprehensive FAQ section that will likely answer most of the questions you could have about playing.

Our Experience with FreeLottoFest

FreeLottoFest is not going to make you a millionaire, however, it is still a good place to enter into competitions to potentially win free money without having to pay a cent. We look forward to seeing what other innovations they might start offering in the future, until then they are doing a good job offering people a place to enter into free lottery draws. However, if you don’t mind paying to play through one of the best lottery sites instead, there are many great alternatives available.

Final Thoughts

Freelottofest is a website that has challenged the usual structure in which lottery websites operate. It challenged it to the extent but despite this, it has found some loyal fans and success. The “free” side of the site is questionable and seems to slowly be losing traction over time.
